No, but I love the Anne Rice Vampire Lestat stories and I can see how people get 'sucked' in (pardon the pun) ......the idea of immortality, and its almost erotic in parts especially if you are a neck person....

There is a type of disease that your skin lacks so much pigment that even the lighting from a flashlight would blister your skin. These people had to pretty much live in the dark with no such lighting anything more than a candle. This is where the idea of vampires came from, but otherwise, it is just a myth.

Yes and no. Yes because there is a disease that causes people to have symptoms close to vampires. Their gums will recede causing it to look like their canines are growing. Also they are very sensitive to light and garlic. To help alleviate the syptoms they drink human blood. No because actual vampires aren't real. I wish they were though.

My son's ex-girlfriend was a vampire. Not in the supernatural sense...she was Goth. I have to add that she was a very nice girl, even with the fangs.

I didn't used to until I met a few. Now I do completely. They aren't exactly your traditional Hollywood vampires, but they do have darker traits than many.

I believe in psychic vampires that suck your energy. My ex roommate was one. Just being in the room with him left me edgy and depressed at the same time.
