I have seen a product called "Mederma" which is supposed to aid in the healing of a scar.
Yes, bad, bad, you for mashing it in that spot. We all do it though.
Buy yourself some good skin cleanser that contains something like apricot seeds (for example) and cleanse your face at least weekly to eliminate the blackheads. If you are prone to blackheads, use this about three times a week.
Best luck. Please, please, stay away from any break out directly under your nose. Just cleanse it and don't try to mash it.

There are no creams that can eliminate scars, I'm sorry to say. However, moisturising will help to keep the skin more supple. Carefully applied make up can disguise scars if the right colour is chosen. If it's a small scar then ask advice from someone on a cosmetic counter. If the scar is quite large, I know that the red cross can offer advice on products that can do a good job of disguising. I hope this helps.

TRUDERM! Properly typed, TruDerm. I works wonder on acne scars and discolorations. I am serious. In a few weeks you will see a big difference! You can't buy it in the stores. You an buy it off ebay. Or go to yahoo.com or google and type in TruDerm scar cream and bunch of sites will have the item for sale. I bought if off ebay for 3 bucks (5 with shipping and handling) on other sites it's about 7-12 bucks. On ebay the guy has a stock so he never runs out. Try ebay first.

I always avocate people with scars to try frankincense essential oil as it's natural and aids in cell-regeneration when it's mixed with unscented skin-care products. Although it doesn't work instantly, your wound will be well-healed. Mix a drop of that with a drop of lavender essential oil into your moisturiser which is organic and unscented and apply on your face, especially on that area. Aloe vera will be a very good moisturiser and skin-healer and it's also non-oily.

It will lighten up on it's own over time, but you can speed up the process. If you have retin-a micro for pimples try that, it requires a prescription though. If not try roc retinol creme, it will keep exfoliating your skin, then always use a grainy scrub or microdermabrasion to take off the dead skin I like st.ives apricot scrub and Lancome resurface-c.

A really cheap fix is to buy the vitamin E gel caps and use the gel inside on your scar. My grandfather's girlfriend is a nurse and she uses it on her surgery scars.
