I do cardio for 1 hour a day intensely and watch what I eat, but 1 or 2 days a week I will have an unhealthy snack, just as dipping fresh fruit into melted chocolate chips or having sour cream. Will this effect my weight loss? I try my hardest and I want to know if these little messups really make or break the weight loss process because if they do, I have some changes to make. Thank you. :)

One or two days will definately not throw you off unless you are absolutely binging on these days.

Having a treat every once in a while is only natural. Its better to do this than never have what you want and then all the sudden pig out for days and days because you have been depriving yourself of it for so long.

Keep up the great work, I know you can reach your goals.

Weight loss is all about balancing your calories. If you eat fewer calories than you burn, you lose weight. Adding an extra 400 calories over the course of a week will probably not be a problem if you have an otherwise healthy diet. Of course time will tell. Many people cut their daily calories more than they need to so that they can be bad occasionally.

Your diet is something that you will have to do for the rest of your life, so it should be something you enjoy. Treat yourself once in a while, just it moderation.

This happens to everyone. You're doing the right thing by giving in to these pleasures. And exercising for an hour a day is something most of us wish we had enough motivation for! I wish I could stick to my nutrition and workout habits as well as you do.

I think ultimately it helps with your weight loss because you are not totally denying yourself these "forbidden" foods and then ending up binging on them. It sounds like you are doing great, keep up the good work.

It will not affect your weight loss too much but do not increase these "mess ups". Overall you look to be doing well.
