Ok, this is a follow up from my question about the s l u t, and her ex who keeps hugging me for no reason. Ok, I asked him today, what was up, and he just told me he hugs me cause I'm his friend. I have a lot of guy friends, who don't even hug me at all. And everytime I see him, he either waves to me, or starts a conversation. I think he's lying to me about the friend thing, what do u think?

Yes, he's not being truthful. When it's a boy girl friends only sort of thing, it's more appropriate for the female to initiate hugs. If she isn't initiating a hug, then I don't hug her. I don't want her to feel uncomfortable. The girl sets the limits in the 'friends only' relationships. He should have picked up on the signals by now.

Guys can hug girls without it meaning anything. I know a guy that hugs a lot of girls and I'm sure he doesn't like all of them. Friends are friends, and what's a hug between two friends?

It's always possible he wants to be more than friends. Or he could be one of those touchy feely people. Does he hug other friends? If he wants to be more than just friends I guess the ball is in your court. What do you want? If you don't want to be more - tell him to lay off the hugs.

no i don't think he's lying a lot of guys do that @ my school and i think they are my friends
