Description
Former Vice President Al Gore presents this compelling documentary about the detrimental effects that we are having on the planet and the need for a worldwide change. If you believed them when they said global warming was a myth, this film dispels that notion with many independent pieces of evidence. More importantly, this film not only shares what causes global warming, but what the effects are going to be, from the flooding of coastlines displacing millions of people from their homes, to the complete extinction of entire species of animals. This is not a film about left or right, this is a film about humanity and how we need to preserve the earth and its resources before it is too late. "You owe it to yourself to see this film, if you do not, and you have grandchildren, you should explain to them why you decided not to." - Roger Ebert

Honestly, if Gore was planning on running for office again...I'd suspect PR. But really, the science is true. There has been a sudden increase in CO2 emissions in the last few decades. We are seeing the effects of these increasing greenhouse gases everywhere. Antarctica, Greenland, chaotic and extreme weather patterns, changes in movement in migratory animals, etc.
I think it's real, I think we have to do something about it now.

Some of the arguements that are mentioned in the film have weight. But... The rest of the film is just plain non adulterated FUD. Gore wouldn't know a warm room from an icebox. Common... Can we trust a guy who claims that he invented the danged ole internet?!? The planet has cycles of hot and cold. Recently we have been on a warming spree. The planet naturally regulates itself and is proven in fossil recors showing that when the earth is warmer more trees grow and then they die all of a sudden due to low concentrations of CO2 and there is a global freeze. Then when threes die back more CO2 builds up and then the planet warms up melnig the caps and then more trees grow. Wash, rinse, and repeat et infinitum ad nausium.

Yes. There is no conclusive proof that industry is causing global warming. Al gore is an inconvienient idiot. Global Warming is a fake left wing political platform to bring about world socialism led by the UN. The goal is to have one "central commitee." that decides who gets "economic resources" anyone who does not agree with that committee gets nothing and starves to death. This is the goal of environmentalism.
