My dog has recently been very strange to me. He does not come when i call him anymore, he poops on my bed, pees in my shoes, barks at me when i walk in, He even took a picture of me off the fridge and chewed it up!
There is obvious tension, is there such thing as a Dog counselar?

Ha! am unsure if this is a serious question or not - because I had a Jack russell growing up that would pee on the bed of the person who yelled at her - she would also snub one of us for days if we found where she hid her chew bone in the yard!

I think you to need to have a heart to heart and break the silence!

Sorry, folks but dogs CAN get mad at people. It may not be the same emotion that we experience, but dogs can certainly get upset about things that we do.

That said, dogs don't usually display this emotion the way you are describing. And there is NO WAY to determine why your dog is doing this from the information that you have given. (Not everything is about dominance, people!) Ask your vet for a referral to a behavior counselor or Applied Animal Behaviorist, or go to www.apdt.com to find someone near you. Only they can tell you why your dog is doing this and what you should do.

Now I love dogs too, but when you think they are mad at you that is too far. What I think is that you have let the dog become the leader of the pack. You need to take charge. You should watch the show The Dog Whisperer on the National Geographic channel. Also you should get a book called Cesar's Way. It is by Cesar Millan. He is the dude on the Dog Whisperer. It should help you out.

Dogs don't get mad. This is using human psychology on an animal. The dog appears to be displaying dominant tendancies. To learn more about how dogs think and how to deal with them in a way they understand, try Cesar Milan's information here: http://www.dogpsychologycenter.com/

don't listen to the people who says dogs dont get mad ..... believe me they do .... ( it's not jus phsycology or whatever as that one person put it) .. my dog is mad ( jealous actually) she sometimes ignores me because i let my puppy in the house ( my other dog is an outdoors dog but she usually sleeps in my room) when the puppy's in the house she barks and jumps at the door .. sometimes she growls at me 2.......i don't really know what can help your dog but i think just being loving, and undersatinding will help... otherwise you can always see about ceaser the dog whisperer.........
