Ok, there's a guy who sits next to me in one of my classes and he has been annoying me constantly. It started out with just little jokes, and goofing around but now he's making me furious. He's constantly trying to make me look bad in front of other guys ; he will say something like (the maturity level is really high here so brace yourself),"she lies, don't listen to anything she says" or "would you ever like anyone who's stubborn and who lies?" (suggesting that I do) (OK, and just for the record, I have never lied to this kid in my life! Also the reason why he was saying that I was stubborn is because I wouldn't copy off of his paper and cheat.)
Even when I'm talking to his friends, he tells them not to listen to anything I have to say. Oh, and he's also been saying some pretty offensive things to me lately. This is really beginning to get on my nerves and I've had just about enough of it. Please tell me what the heck is going on here and how I can make it stop! I hate this guy!!

If I were in your place, I would confront him the very next time he says something that offends me. And prefereably in front of the very people he tries to humiliate me in front of. I would tell him in no uncertain terms that I dont appreciate him making such remarks about me, and would ask him to frankly tell me whether I have done anything that has offended him. Faced with a situation like that, he would have two options - either he comes clean and tells you what's wrong with him, or else he sees you taking a stand and backs off.

Depending on what grade you're in, it sounds like this kid kinda likes you! The best thing you can do is ignore him. That's really the only thing you can do unless you ask to switch seats or classes altogether. If you ignore him, he'll give up and pick on someone else eventually. If you talk back to him, it'll keep him going. So be patient and just pretend you don't hear him and act like he's not even there. In otherwords, don't give him the time of day.

HI, Have you told him to knock it off and that you don't appreciate his "humor" or whatever he wants to call it. I would then ask the teacher if you could trade seats so that you are not sitting close to him, or even better would be to change classes so you don't even have to look at him. If you are out of the picture to him, maybe he will let up. I wouldn't worry about what your mutual friends think. They know him, and you are giving him the power if you worry, and worry about it. Ignore him after telling him to stop. Good Luck!

Well it sounds like either you've said or done something to piss him off that you don't know about, or it's just his grade 3 way of flirting. Either way it's a crappy situation because you could pretty easily end up looking like a bee-atch just for standing up for yourself. At the same time, don't take him talking to you like that. Give him a dirty look and ignore it but make sure you are nice to the other guys...like even go out of your way to say hi to them. That way it's obvious that you're not bitchy, you're just not going to put up with a guy who treats you like that.

I've gone thru da same thing...it can get out of hand...wat u should do is tell sum1...this guy probably likes u, so if u just dont have a reaction, then he will eventually get bored and stop...this guy @ my skool(landen) kept bothering me aaaaall the time (i think he liked me) and i ignored him and after a couple weeks, he stopped...good luck ;D

This poor virgin has a crush on you and he believes that by acting like a 5 year old, you'll come crawling to him. Completely ignore him. And I mean completely. He does not exist in your world. He'll feel it and his friends will see it. The only way to beat limp pigs like him is with dignity and class.

wow. well the first thing i can think of is that he really likes you. and Obviously has NO idea how to treat a lady that he likes. but...this is so crazy i just dont understand y he is this mean to u if liking you is a possibility. i dont know what else u should do, but talk to him! very very much luck to you hun.

Sounds to me like he actually likes you but very lacking in social skills. Tell him exactly how you feel. If that doesn't work ask to be seated differently and avoid him as much as possible.
