The best thing here you could do is, trust your instincts if you really like the person you can go out with him, if you don't like him much but want to be a friend still go out with him as you two can turn into very good friend's in the future...If he treats you good and gives you presents then that means he is intrested in you and wants to have an affair with you, basically speaking if you know you two can get along good together GO OUT AND CHILL !!!
