Sadly time is the only way. Covering it up is your best option. Either you can use foundation, or cover up make up, even professional theatrical makeup will work best. If you can't do that, you can try to cover it with your clothes...usually something like a turtle neck shirt or a high collar, or a scarf. It is a type of bruise..and as with a bruise you have to wait around for it to heal.

Foundation (Make-up) This would possibly sound particularly bizarre however my grandmother use to place a peeled potatoe (Slices) onto a bruise and she or he might like placed it within a hankercheif and tie it round wherein ever the bruise was once and it might draw the bruise out. She stated it might take a hickey away too rationale a hickey is a bruise beneath the epidermis. I did check out it and it does paintings. I simply felt form of dumb strolling round with that tied to my neck. But i simply performed it to look if that particularly works.

It takes time for the bruising to go away. Can take a week, depending how bad it is. That's what a "hickey" is. A bad bruise. There is nothing that will make it go away, but time. You can also try some makeup to cover it in the meantime.

Just wait for it to heal like any other skin bruise. You can use concealer make up but if its a big hickey people are going to notice. If you dont want these things tell your partner not to suck on your neck.

Like the people before me have said you have to wait for it to heal. All the weirdo home remedies won't work. Make up to conceal it will help for smaller ones. You could try wearing turtle necks. People would get suspecious. For future reference don't get them. They are more of a hassle then statement. Good luck.

try using warm water. Just damp a cloth with it
and hold it on the area. This will get the blood flowing. Trust me this really works! I've tried it.

Arnica gel -- you can get it at any natural food store. It's for bruising and swelling. It works like a charm and it only costs a few bucks. Good luck!
