I made a dip consisting of Philadelphia Garden Vegetable cream cheese, sour cream, and a little shreeded yellow cheese. I want to heat this dip so the cheesy gets melty and the dip is hot to eat with vegetables. Will the cream cheese and sour cream "react" to the heat and ruin the dip? Thank you!

Cream cheese and sour cream are both in a lot of cooked dishes. Should be fine.

Since it sounds like you've already made it, I'll focus on what to do now.

How much did you make? If you made a good amount, just take a small portion of it and heat it and see what happens. You may get a texture that you're still pleased with, but cream cheese and sour cream can be finicky. This might be a dip that's better to bake than to microwave if you're set on turning it into a hot dip. .

I would melt the cheese with the cream cheese - hot- then mix with the cold sour cream. Thatll give you a semi warm dip

I would think so. My suggestion would be to heat up the cheese to melt it and then pour it over the dip.
