I think that there is no such thing as hell but I do believe in God. I don't want to live anymore and I cannot find a reason to so why should I. I realize that it will hurt my family and that bothers me but they'll get over it. I'm in so much pain and all I want is for things to end. I've made my choice I suppose. I only wish there was someone to rtalk me out of it.

If I told you God did not exist, would that give you less reason to live or more?

Hey! I've been there many times and tried twice. I am now 32 and love every part of my life. If you can just be patient it will be your turn. God has a purpose for the terrible things you are going through and you may never know what it is but just know He is in control. Your family will be more than hurt. They will never get over something like that and when someone does what you are thinking about doing, everyone around you blames themselves. Even me, hoping I haven't said anything wrong. Have you ever heard of MHMR? Well, they have a 24 hour crisis line and they are very nice. MHMR stands for Mental Health, Mental Retardation. I am bipolar and used to use them for many years. Good luck and I will pray for you.

Someone once told me, in such a moment, "make it through the next hour." The point is, for people contemplating this sort of action, short term emotions fool you into thinking the feeling will never pass. I don't want to seem like a Pollyanna or arrogant ***, but I think if you can make it another hour, another day, you and those who love you will be eternally grateful. In some sense, some way, it will pass, and you'll be glad you didn't.

My daughter is 26 now and her mother (my ex-wife) killed herself
when she was 17 and she still hasn't gotten over it. You need to
check into a Mental Hospital and get some help, NOW! Ending
your own life is not the way out. Can't you talk to any of your family members about how you feel. Isn't there anything that you
like to do or that you could look forward to just to get you through a rough period.

If you believe inGod you must also have faith that your life is for a reason.not comprehensible to you right now. If you realise that by ending it you will hurt your family then the thought itself is reason to live as you dont hurt people you love. As you say that they will get over it, have faith and onviction that you will aslo get over what is bothering you and making you think to end God's greatest gift of life to you.So be strong and face the world instead of escape and world will be at your feet. Good luck and good wishes.

Suicide is a cop out. Very selfish thing to do. Talk to a counselor, go to a hospital, go to a church, something, but don't do that. Picture your family at your funeral and how much you will cripple them. I found my neighbor after she committed suicide by gun to head and she had a 7 yr old daughter. I seen the torment her family and daughter went through and what i went through just finding her. Changed my thoughts really quick. Get therapy and once you are able to do that and go on, * don't let your past drag on your coat tail as it will cripple the future *. My mom taught me to be a survivor in life and not a victim of it.

My life wasn't the best, lost my dad when i was a kid, lost 2 brothers when i was 14 to a drowning, lost my mom 5 yrs ago. I had thoughts like you at times, but i would NEVER be that selfish to my kids .... PLEASE GET HELP....YOU ARE SO WORTH IT!
LIFE IS WAY TO SHORT AND DEATH IS FOREVER, NO TURNING BACK.

I know it feels like things will never be any better - I've been there myself. I've battled depression for nearly 30 years now. You need to start by talking to a professional - which is tough when you don't think it will do any good. But it WILL. If you're really feeling desperate right now, please go to: http://suicidehotlines.com/

It's so much better to talk to someone who knows how to help you than some anonymous person on a board like this.

Your family will never get over it. Suicide is the ultimate in selfishness.

You don't say whether your pain in mental or physical. Either way, pain can be controlled.

Call 911 and they will get you help. Be brave and give life a chance.

Call now.

This may not be the best answer. But I believe in God too, and with this belief, I believe that God is the only one that deserves to take our lives.

But that's just what I believe, I would can that the answer is prayer, give your burdins to God, he never gives us more than we can take. Or eat Chocolate, it has natural Endorphins in it.
