well eating those put so much saturated fat into your system it will actually make you feel depressed.
but here is an idea. next time you're feeling crappy, grab a bag of baby carrots. you can bite them really hard to get some of that tension out, and you wont feel bad about eating too many!

Get off the computer and go for a walk. For the rest of the day, don't eat anything bad for you - eat healthy, low-fat, low-cal meals only, and don't put piles on your plate. You've already eaten most of your daily calories (if not all and more) so you need to cut back. DON'T starve yourself for the rest of the day, though, that'll only make things worse!
The reason you grabbed those crisps is because you were depressed, and because a sugar rush gives you a temporary high - those crisps will spike your blood sugar in no time. The problem is, what spikes will then crash and you'll feel worse than before (totally aside from the guilt, that is.)
THROW OUT THE CRISPS - AND DON'T BUY ANY MORE. Keep some healthy snacks handy, ones that have plenty of fiber and good carbs/fat. Eat a few of those when you have the munchies instead of the crisps, and you'll keep your blood sugar level, which will make you less likely to get all down in the dumps and wanting to binge.
Next time you feel depressed, go for a walk, play with a pet if you have one, call a friend - just distract yourself with something you enjoy doing. You'll feel better, you'll be healthier, and you won't run the local grocery store out of crisps.

There's not a lot that you can do about it now, and there is no point in beating yourself up about it, what's done is done!
But tomorrow why don't you do some exercise go for a nice power walk or do some jogging
Meal wise tomorrow just eat a bit less than you normally would, and try not to have any junk food, or anything too heavy and try and drink at least 8 glasses of water. Also why don't you have the following, just an idea now - for breakfast a poached egg on toast or a bowl of cereal. Lunchtime have a ham salad sandwich and for dinner have a chicken stir fry, served with rice

I stood in a queue tonight behind some guys who were arguing about only having eight packets of crisps tonight each in addition to flapjack, jaffa cakes, chocolate sandwich biscuits and freshly squeezed orange juice. They were contemplating getting extra crisps.
Don't let it get to you. Each time you indulge in mega calories, forget it and start again with the healthy eating - otherwise it will make you feel worse.
You enjoyed the crisps - now move on and next time try for fewer bags and an apple! Oh yes and don't forget the walnuts to alleviate any potential damage from the fat.
A liitle gentle exercise such as walking may also help to boost your spirits.

If chips/crisps are your thing when you're sad, you should find a comfort food that takes longer to eat and you won't eat as much of it. Or something that gives you the same satisfaction with fewer calories. I don't think baby carrots would cut it for me when I get the blues. Chips are easy to overdo because they're light but so greasy! Popcorn is better and less guilty if you don't drown it in butter. As far as the professors out there who are giving you depression advice, this is a classic female response to problems and it's not going to kill you if it's just once in a while. As far as the mega calories you just downed, don't eat anything but salad all day tomorrow!

Well, what's done is done. You can't change it now so instead of feeling bad about it do something about it. If you are prone to binge eating (like we all are sometimes!) why don't you stop buying so many crisps and similar food. That way when you really want to eat something you will have to get up and walk to the shop. I love crisps but I found if I didn't buy any and I had to get my *** off the chair and go out in the cold to buy some I just wouldn't bother. Good luck!!

oh bummer, six bags of crisps. Well, just try and drink loads of water tomorrow; maybe now, try drinking some strong tea to help get hte taste out of your mouth. Give your teeth a good brushing, and rinse well with a mouthwash. Not a lot you can do now about the calories; but you know that, and tomorrow will be better. Forgive yourself. You are a nice person.

Dont go run it off if you just ate 6 bags (wow) an hour ago.
Take a slow walk around the block for 20-30 minutes.
You'll feel much better afterwards.
After 3 hours Carbs get digested and then youll have to walk some more to get ridd of it.

Exercise! Go for a run or do some type of aerobic activity. Physical activity is proven to take off the weight and help relieve symptoms of depression and stress. I work out regularly and when I strart to miss to much time from my workouts, I can feel the stress and depression setting in. I've suffered from anxiety in the past and the only thing that works for me is exercise!

I would first ask : What caused you to be depressed in the first place? As an added reminder I would tell you that food is not the answer to your problem. That's one of the reason's you see so many overweight people today. They think that eating will solve their problem, but it only creates another one.
Then I would suggest you seek some professional help for depression and for overeating.

Dear friend:
I learned something long time ago: if you are depressed and feel like eating, then do it and enjoy it! Why eat a lot while being depressed and not enjoy it to its fullest? That's why you are doing it, right? Now, whenever you calm down and think things twice, think about not eating a lot. Just face the problems as good as you can. If you feel like eating like that again.... sit down in front of your TV and eat! Try to eat organic stuff though....
Good luck!
