you can check with the local newspaper or the local courthouse where births and deaths are recorded. I'm sorry for your loss.

I think you have the rigth to ask that question to the person from whom you heard that from. Regardless of your situation that we dont know about your Dad was your Dad and if you want to know just go straight to the source instead of doing all the run around in court houses or vital records offices.

How old are you now? How did you hear your Dad had died? sorry so many questions just want to establish the situation. Ask the person who told you for a little more information

If you know the state / city maybe you could look online for the local paper and go through the obituaries.

If you know his legal name what city and state he was living in when he died. You should be able to look it up on the internet in that particular news paper in that city. Good Luck and GOD BLESS!!!!!

Call and/or email the county (where he lived) Vital Records department for more info on obtaining verification.

Your on a pc now go to that States obits, you have to have a date or go to the department of records. You might have to go in person.

my advice would be to contact your family because they would know if he did or didn't die i don't know what stoped you talking to your family but don't you thhink it's time you did talk to your family i don't mean this in a harsh way but you need to wake up to your self and talk to your family
