Depends on what size pasta you are using too. I recently made some baked macaroni and cheese for a baby shower and I used 3 pounds of spaghetti (angel hair) they had about that many people at the shower. When I dumped the pasta into the pan it was alot. Now remember that most people will take a little spoon of each thing. So I would say you would be safe with 4 pds. Good Luck!! My baked macaroni was a hit, as I'm sure your spaghetti will be!!!!

You'll need big pans!!!!
About 3 meatballs per person and about 6 packs of spaghetti should do it. You could always cook the pasta in batches in advance so it doesnt stick together and get too full of starch then reheat by either nuking in microwave or dunking in boiling water for a minute or so.
Dont forget the parmesan.
Good luck and all the best for your friends bridal shower and wedding.

it is usually 1/2 of pasta per person, I would make a variety of pasta . I would also cook a few sausages slice them up and throw them in the sauce instead of meatballs. Make spicy sauce, mild and maybe even a hot tasting sauce.

Most of the poeple will probably not eat much. Better to error on the safe side. I would guess around 10 pkgs of noodles (12oz pkg) & about 15-18 jars of sauce.
Spagetti goes a long way.
Just a suggestion.. call a reasturant & ask them... or a catering service. They won't mind helping you figure it out.

depends on what else is being served. i would count on 3-4 oz of pasta per person if you're making the main dish.
