It may be that you've developed a sensitivity or allergy to some element of the wine. I have a friend who gets the same symptoms because of sulfites in the wine.

Please forgive me for stating this so bluntly, but just stop drinking wine. You are probably allergic to it, especially if you are drinking red wine. White wine is better if you must drink wine. Also, if you are drinking on an empty stomach, that will cause stomach pain.

You are sensitive to an ingredient in the wine. Don't drink it.
This isn't unusual. I get a headache when I drink vodka so I avoid it.

So my question for you is......so why do you keep drinking if this has been going on for a long time and it makes you sick?
That boggles my mind. I got sick on mushrooms when I was a kid. Never ate them again.
