I do. What kind of off roading do plan on doing? Are you going rock crawling, mud bogging, trail riding, desert or snow? Each has it's own ditinct traits and driving styles. The best I could suggest is to start slow and practive. The best teacher is experience, after a couple of times on your lid you will figure out how you got there.

it depens on what year and model, but most work like this: Next to the transmission shifter, is another lever, along the console are indicators like 2wd, 4wd, full time, low. it may be worded differently, but just pull the lever toward 4wd and voila, it's in 4x4. Unless it's an older jeep.

You activate it by, If auto, brakes down go to neutral, pull the lever or stick to 4H for loose gravel, snow or mud at +20MPH or 4L for something harder at low speeds 20 or less.
If STD just go to neutral, with the clutch dowm move the other shifter as before.
Make sure that you have positioned the wheel locks on.

If this was not your question then...
USE IT CAREFULLY

Are you asking how to engage the 4 wheel drive? If so you need to be more specific on the year. Newer ones are all done inside older ones you had to get out of the car and lock the hubs.
