Take it to an appraiser. I'm not sure where you live, but look up Sotheby's and Christie's online. I know they do appraisals, but I don't know what arrangements they make as far as travel.

48 pence, just cos its older than my gran dont make it an "original, " my religious knowledge is pretty poor but i thought Jesus and his homies were around 1867 years before, making it , a little second hand, if you dont mind me sayin, no disrespect.
