I gave my youngest child ( a little boy) up for adoption 5 years ago. I had already had 2 children, just left my husband and knew I could not raise another child on my own. I didn't want to think about abortion (been there too) so I had an open adoption with a couple that could not have children. It was the most beautiful thing to see.

I haven't had the chance yet, but on home edition a woman jumped on her two children to save them from a tornado.
