Mechanic is a job you can do in the Army and as a civilian. I can't remember how long the AIT is though. It would be a 63 series MOS.

63H - Track Vehicle Repairer - 14 weeks
63M - Bradley Fighting Vehicle System Maintainer - 10 weeks
63A - M1 ABRAMS Tank System Maintainer - 16 weeks
63B - Light-Wheel Vehicle Mechanic - 10 weeks

Intel fields may well be the main distinctive in terms of nationalities dealt with. Infantry gets positioned to apply greater often than not in wrestle zones (so in case you don t circulate to Afghanistan, ignore it). yet any MOS interior the army or Air stress or Marine Corps gets you vacationing. army is a sprint diverse through fact deployments are on the deliver for months. uncertain approximately Coast look after.

Fuel-er.....why are you in a hurry just do something you like.

I am a 15R, Apache Mechanic, and with basic and ait it was six months total.

I dont see why that matters though because the shortest contract your going to get no matter what is two years. The shortest I have sceen for my job is four years but most of the time it is six years.

the army doesn't really teach any skills you can transfer to the real world, except maybe if you want to become a cop. chef or truck driver
