Something that has always helped me was taking chewable vitamin C tablets (2 of them) a day. It really makes the sickness go away:-) Vitamin C boosts the immune system. If you cant get the tablets, drink a lot of orange/grapefruit juice. Or eat a bunch of oranges, spinach, or other citrus fruits.

If its a cold then you Drink a 8 oz of 100 percent orange drink it down...And then you take a benadrill and go to sleep ..How ever you are to take the benadrill you take another dose to get it cleared up and go back to bed its the rest that your body needs...Bless you sweetie
