Wait untill puberty is over before you start to worry about your weight! Trust me. I was on the heavy side at 10-13 (and worried then), then I was moderate untill I hit 16.. When I was that age I ate so much all the time... but I was tiny (and I learned not to worry)! Now I'm average with in my BMI and healthy (at 25 I'm 125 lbs at 5'4") If your within your BMI just excercise eat balanced diet and you'll be in a great situation when your metabolisim drops after 30. You still have time to grow and change before you need to start worrying abotu that. :) Do check the sites that people posted above or search google for a BMI chart. You could always ask your doctor too.

For a young woman, of course. I'm embarrassed to say that when I was a young man at 15, I only weighed about 100 lbs. So I'm the one that actually had something to complain about. Your fine for your age.

It sounds light, but it's still possible that it's OK. A lot depends on how tall you are, too. Check the height/weight calculator that others have linked to.

And all of this assumes that you're not anorexic or bulimic. If you're not starving yourself, or purging after you eat, and you're not over 5'6", I wouldn't be too concerned.

My friend is 16 and she weighs 97lbs. She is perfectly healthy.
So I would say it is.
You will gain more weight as you get older.

I guess it really depends how tall you are, BUT if you are 5'6 or taller thats WAY to skinny,i would think.
