Give the antibiotics a chance to work. If the vet does not want to see him until next week then he is obviously not very worried about him. I would take a lot of comfort from that. its probably a chest infection ot a doggy cold. relax, if things dont improve in a couple of days perhaps give the vet a ring and talk to him again.

I'd get with the breeder, or whoever you got the puppy from and let them know that they are sending home sick/unhealthy puppies. They should be responsible enough to help fund the vet care. If they ask for the puppy back, they may just sell it to someone else or let it die, if they are not reputable.

You need to talk to the vet and find out what his diagnosis was for the puppy. You should be able to call and talk to a vet tech and maybe even have the vet call you back.

How old is the puppy? Has he had any vaccinations? Good luck...I'm sorry he's sick..

Antibiotics take at least a few days to kick in. Same for us humans! If he's not looking and acting better in about 5 days, call the vet and see whats up. And make sure he's eating and drinking... at least some!

you might want to contact the breeder you got him from also. If something is seriously wrong. swollen lymph glands (nodes) is NOT good.

Keep him hydrated and if it continues to worsen, get him back to the vet.
