I try to eat a healthy diet, but when I get done with a healthy meal, I have the compulsion to grab a brownie or some cake. Then I feel like crap afterwards because it makes me tired. I wanna stop eating this junk food. I'm not fat by the way. I'm a track runner.

My nutritionist told me that your body craves what it needs. In this case, it needs energy, and its first response is to get it from sugar.

Try eating something else high in protein.

It happens. Distract yourself. Eat something which tastes as if it has got sugar, fruit for example.

well, it could be that you want chocolate, not just sugar, because chocolate is addictive.
