why are you unhappy? and what makes you happy? if you can answer these questions, you'll be on your way....

one of my favorite quotes, which I'm going to paraphrase, is "the first part of getting over it is knowing that you'll never get over it."

I take this to mean that you will always have doubt about what could have been, or should have been. but you have to take solace in the knowledge that you did everything you could at the time to make the relationship work. It didn't work, in the end, and it MAY be through no fault of your own.

It's time to do some introspection, and make sure that you're happy with who and what you are. if you aren't, you need to "fix" that before you can be happy in life.

you have my best wishes for a full and speedy recovery ;-)

Hey i here you and i live where you do. At the heart break hotel. i so want to check out of this lonely place myself, it's difficult if you were in love with the one who broke your heart. I'd say try to stay active and don't dewll on the lost love. i should take my own advice. TRy to meet some one else as a friend first till you can know that person. It is said time heals all wounds but i find this is not the case. least not for me. i'd also ask you to remove every thing from your sight that reminds you of that person who broke your heart.you have to fill that viod with some thing or some one other wise you may be a long time recovering. get involved with a church group or some other things that are not destructive to yourself. i wish you the best

Give yourself some grieving time (a few weeks) I suppose. Not sure what your situation is. And than do the things that made you happy prior to someone breaking your heart. If you can't remember, pull out a piece of paper and start thinking. Check out photographs, awards, memories....and work on yourself. :)

By loving...go out & volunteer. Cheer up people in nursing homes, visit children in the hospital for serious illnesses, become a big brother or big sister. When you give, you receive ten fold in return and the Universe smiles....

There is nothing better than finding someone new to make you happy, at least for a while. Its called a rebound relationship. In time all wounds heal, have faith and give it time.

Time.

Right now, comedy movies that don't involve love, friends, family, and food helps. :)

Keep yourself occupied! Put all the memoirs of your relationship in a box and hide that from yourself. Take him off your contact list or myspace and phone.

Give him his space. He may realize what he's missing.

But, goddamn it, go live your life! :D
