It depends on the volume and how strong the alcohol is for example if a can of bud is put in the freezer i think bud is 3.2% am i right? so it should be around -8 but if your on about a bottle of vodka or brandy or any spirits it the volume versus strenght of the alcohol so we really cant aswer your question accurately without measurements???

methyl ether -138.50
ethyl alcohol -117.3

So basically it means how strong the alcohol

i dont think it does. cause if you look on the ingredients for some anti-freezes for car windshields it contains alcohol - or it at lest smells of alcohol. and it one ingredient of an anti-reeze freezes then it obviously cant work.
