What would you choose? Cause I have a guy who I love and he's a GOOD man, the kind you don't find everyday, but he's not romantic...he says that he's too realistic for all that. I've been romancing guys my whole life with surprises and grand gestures. But I've never been romanced. For once I would like to be romanced!

I believe u need the romance in order to feel the stability. Think about it...you did the romancing bc you couldnt get him out of your head and wanted for him to know that he is important to you. Without all of those little things...do u or can u really feel stable? I am the same way and if i dont get it in return, I dont feel as stable bc I dont feel that the feelings are mutual at least not as much as I enjoy them otherwise I would recieve it right. I have a good man as well. But the romance is missing and so therefore I dont feel that he thinks of me as much as I do him.

Been there, done that. I don't know about you, but I'd rather my man take care of business than mess around with hearts and flowers. There's nothing romantic about instability. Calm, stable men can be taught to be romantic in their own ways. Unstable men- no thanks!
You might want to redefine what you consider romance and get real. You'll feel differently when you have a husband and kids and you can rely on your man to pay the mortgage on time. When the baby needs diapers and Mr. Romance comes home with a box of candy, you're not going to think he's romantic at all. Trust me.

Tell him what you need. Tell him you love him, but have always longed for romance. Buy him a book on how to romance a woman. If he wants to keep you, he will put out the effort. Not all guys are naturally romantic, but it can be learned.
