We are the generation that controls the destiny of our planet itself, yet those in power the world over, aren't doing it! Why are they so ignorant of the consequences of their actions. Don't they realize they are setting the scene for the destruction of earth and all its inhabitants in what is termed, "the last days"? How can we change their minds? Is it worth it to us to do so?

I'm not talking about the spiritual, "end of times." I'm talking about the end of times caused by man without anything spiritual getting involved.

It's hard to do so, I do believe that there are many responsible countries out there that are really trying, but not every country is a responsible one, some counties are ruled by selfish rulers who's only concern is power that they can acquire for them selves. I think it best if counties are ruled by governments that allow their citizens to have a voice, when we can get the world on board with that I think we might have a chance.

Dude, turn off the T.V. , Radio, computer don't read the newspaper, for 1 week i will guarantee you will not see the world coming to an end or any of the signs Jesus talked about in your day to day life.... All of this doom and gloom is just a distraction. You can't change anyone Else's belief through actions or words until you change your own heart.

it is BY FAR not the worst time. Remember the Cold War? Ya the world was in even WORSE shape than it is now. Even so much that Russia and the U.S. signed a treaty called M.A.D. (or Mutually Assured Destruction) stating that they would never stockpile enough nuclear arms to completely annihilate each-other for fear we would completely annihilate the earth. I think we're a little better off now, and by little I mean lot.

The only mind we can change is our own. Be prepared. It will happen just as foretold, just as the Messiah's first coming happened exactly according to the prophecies. I think as people see how sure and secure you are in that knowledge, they will be motivated to make their own decisions firm. And that will be all it takes.

It depends on your meanings...

Are you meaning it to be the last days biblically?

Or last days because the amount of war, threats of nuclear warheads, and pollution are going to deteriorate the world? Because I agree with the second part.

You make such a good point. I don't think that there's anything we can do to change their minds. It's scary to think that our future lies in the hands of some idiotic politicians.
