you should talk to her and ask her what was that made her break up w/ you.. if she is meant to be for you, then in time she'll come back, don't beg no one to come back, don't force them neither, that gets annoying. communicate.

Since you guys have been friends since the sixth grade, and were together for a year, I think it might be a good idea to see other people.
Even though you may not have been controlling, she may have felt a bit overwhelmed by your exclusive relationship. I would say give her the space she's requested and maybe someday you guys can return to being friends.
Don't try to "win her back" , it will only piss her off, and she will think you are crazy.

Give her some freedom. Being in a relationship since 6th grade is pretty long so she needs air. Come back to her when she feels ready and keep her happy. Keeping a calendar helps you remember dates and stuff that makes you both happy. All girls go through this stage of wanting to be free from a relationship.

I am so sorry about her leaving you. But, honestly, you can not make her love you. The way she broke-up with you almost seems like she might be interested in someone else. You might need to give her her space and let things calm down a bit. Give her the time she needs and give her her space. Talk to her friends and see if they know whats going on. And then, of course, talk to her. Email her, write her a letter or how ever you can get in touch with her to see what happened.
Good luck!

Get over it, go out with somebody else.
Do this and if she's meant for you she will come running back.
Seriously, leave her alone for a while.
Good luck.
Follow your heart.

If she said it's over it's probably over. You don't want to be with someone that isn't interested anymore. i would say do exactly what she wants and move on.
