grades ie. Test scores, over all grades, grades on papers. I.Q. how well he pays attnetion in class. His efforts. Not his looks. Someone good be on the football team totally buff, and be the smartest person at the school.. or he could be the stupidest. A totaly nerdy guy, glasses braces, pocket protector the whole pit, star wars colllection, could end up really getting F's, being really stupid, or totally opposite, and could be the next Einstien..
So no. Looks have NOTHING to do wiht it.

You have a conversation with him. I know several HOT guys that are incredibly smart, but they're also arrogant. Have an intelligent conversation, if he can hold his own, then it's safe to say that he's smart.

By the way he talks... his mannerisms.
Just listen to them in a conversation.
Their intelligence will be seen in the way they speak and how they present material.
I don't really think you can base someone's intelligence on grades. They're just numbers. Not all intelligent people do their homework. So they get a 0 on it. Doesn't mean they're stupid and totally incapable of doing the homework. They just choose not to.

looks are no indications of a person's true self-the way he talks and interacts should give you clues,but knowing getting to know him better would provide you more insight into his smartness.

he has to have an excellent vocabulary, brains, and most importantly the way he approaches certain matters, and how he acts towards conversation.
