we spend alot of time together, and he acts like he really cares but i feel that we should already be together, and not in this stage... what ever this stage is.

To many guys you will always be his 'baby girl' even when you are 90+ years old! The term is a sign of affection so I wouldn't worry about it! Good luck Sweety!

#2: Keeping his options open
#3: Doesn't like you enough to be committed to you, although he enjoys your company on YOUR schedule
If you don't like it, leave him. If you can handle it, stay with him. But no matter what you have to be realistic and know that you are not going to CHANGE him and he is likely not going to change himself, so again you just have to be realistic with yourself and decide if you can handle it always being like this.
I, for one, would leave in a heartbeat!!
