I have a 4 month old lab, and her tooth on the bottom is a grayish color with a black on it, it looks like she ate some dirt, but when I brushed her teeth it did not come off...is she getting ready to lose it, or is there something wrong?

Please take her to a vet. There could be something wrong with the nerve in the tooth. In other words the tooth could be dying or dead. Most importantly it could be causing her pain.

I had a cat (we rescued him) that had a "grayish" tooth and it turned out that it was rotten (it was a back tooth hard to see) He had to have it removed. Unfortunately it was too late and the infection had gone to his brain. He died only a few days after having it out. Get it removed immediately and insist your vet gives you antibiotics to kill any infection.

Pups usually start loosing their teeth around 13 weeks or so. Could be natural. If it doesn't seem to bother her, I'd wait and see.

you should take her to the vet to find out if she has a decaying tooth, but if she still hasn't lost all her puppy teeth then it could be natural...i would wait it out a bit first.

i would highly suggest you call the vet and explain the situation. It might be nothing! But it's worth a phone call definitely!
