You can get leg cramps from not drinking enough fluids to having a blood clot problem from what I've read. Try drinking a lot of water or Gatorade for extra nutrients, but if it doesn't go away, call your doctor or speak to a nurse to be safe!

Eating more fruits and veggies for potassium is an excellent suggestion. Cramps may also be helped by taking 400 iu Vitamin E daily, and calcium-magnesum-zinc pills 2-3 times daily. Vitamin C with bioflavinoids will help muscle soreness and speed recovery.

Eat a banana if you've got one. It always helps me to prevent leg cramps (used to get them every other day) and when I do get a cramp I feel much better much faster if I eat something with potassium in it.

Have a nice cramp-free day. :)
