Eating more fruits and veggies for potassium is an excellent suggestion. Cramps may also be helped by taking 400 iu Vitamin E daily, and calcium-magnesum-zinc pills 2-3 times daily. Vitamin C with bioflavinoids will help muscle soreness and speed recovery.

Yeah, we used to call them Charlie Horses. The circulation cut off for a brief moment. The pain will go away perhaps in another day or so. Some say if it continues to pop some Potassium. Your body might be low on that.

Eat a banana if you've got one. It always helps me to prevent leg cramps (used to get them every other day) and when I do get a cramp I feel much better much faster if I eat something with potassium in it.
