If you are a responsible and mature adult and you both share the same outlooks and perspectives on life then i don't think the age barrier should be an obstacle. Just make sure that you and him are on the same path- for example, if he is 30 maybe he wants to settle down and start a family, and has accomplished everything career wise, whereas you are 18 and still exploring and experiencing the world, and still have major goals that you need to achieve. Will he object to this?
But like i said, if you have a lot in common and have a connection, then the relationship should work fine. The main problem is that people rush into relationships, because they are so infatuated with each other, that they fail to recognise or see any potential obstacles that may play a part in deteriorating the relationship. Make sure that doesn't happen.

Well my 22 year old sister is married to a 31 year old doctor. At first everyone protested them being together, but then we got to know him and we know that he will be able to take care of her so eventually we gave in. I am pretty sure that their marriage will last, since we know how much he loves her, and how much she loves him. But anyways, it really just depends on what kind of guy this guy is. If he is a drunk, or is unemployed or anything like that, that probably tells you about what kind of guy he is. But if he is well off, has a job, isn't a perverted weirdo freak, and is a nice guy on the whole, then i would say, go for it!

It could. I had a friend who married a 30 year old, and she is 21 so it could work. Personally I wouldn't because I think I would have some maturing to do before I could date an older man. However it's your life and you do what you want. Good luck!

i think of what you're dealing with is unquestionably commonplace. Older women human beings prefer to be around youthful adult males through fact they're greater care unfastened i think of. merely as older adult males prefer to be with young women human beings through fact those are not those desiring households good away generally. all and sundry needs a boyfriend/lady buddy that they might have relaxing with. as nicely through fact the greater youthful significant different makes you experience youthful. I truthfully have heard many circumstances as nicely that adult males attain sexual top of their previous due young toddlers jointly as women human beings do not attain it until finally they're of their mid Nineteen Thirties. This additionally makes for larger distances in age in lots of relationships. All i will say from own adventure incredibly is that the older you get, the fewer age concerns. once you're on your 20's, 5 years is a significant distinction the place as once you're on your 50's, 10 years isn't numerous a distinction anymore. And while you're in Hollywood, there at the instant are no regulations lol. -lady 32

There isn't anything wrong with it. As long as ur of legal age and age is just a number. Love doesn't care...it's gonna put you with whoever and don't listen to what everyone says. If you like him then date him. You're the one who's gonna be dating him not other people so you should careless what they think. As long as he's not hurting you or treating you bad then you should be with him.

well I think he is way to old for you. now if he was about 20 to 25 then I really would not see a problem in it. To me yal relationship would not work out because he is not worried about you, come on your 18. He is looking for one thing only. Just think before you do something that is wrong.
