i used to work for hospital radio and you can use a closed loop system but you do need a fair bit of cash. you need computer with dj program which costs about £90 and mixer desk with at least 6 inputs. 2 mics, line in for computer, 2 cd inputs and a phone input. at least 3 outputs, plus a dual cd player like a dennon. mics, leads, plus entertainement licence. and you must by law record your broadcasts in case the authorities need to check on what you have broadcast. speakers in the studio. sound proofing, headphones, the music cost itself for cd's. office furniture. insurance for all the equipment, and of course the time taken to do all this.

inspite of you do save in recommendations the target market adventure. what's going to they listen? Is it in many cases song or speaking? How lengthy is this technique? The impulse will be to spend a lot of money even as perhaps your issue might want to best be solved by some borrowed Ipods, a undemanding computer and one, perhaps 2 $5 mics. With the bandwidth and reaction of maximum PA audio device you received't favor to spend a lot funds on equipment. severe dollar equipment on severe band purely tweeters received't sound solid besides. i might want to wager you've already got all the equipment you want and that is purely a count number of mind's eye and reassigning elements. in the journey that your target market thinks that is cool they received't care the way you probably did it. and there is rather no favor to inform them. except the faculty is prepared to pony up enormous bucks and then i might want to assert you'll favor $10,000.00. Then purchase 2 Ipods, a kicking computer and 2 $1500.00 mics.

If it is to just be broadcast in the school you'll need a tannoy style sytem set up. If it's to be aired on airwaves it'll cost a fortune puerly on airplay fees.
Equipment: Mixing desk, Computer, high quality cables, records, jingle machine-maker, aerials.....the list is long.
