Don't believe it until he does it for you. Ask for more than sketchy details like "someone had a relative that passed away recently." If you listen you will find that all his questions and answers are generalized no matter how right on the money they sound. This and people have been placed in the audience to help him out. Its just a big head game. Once again Don't believe it!

I try to keep an open mind about this stuff, but I'm unsure about the 'psychics' on television. I think the majority of 'psychics' who use their 'abilities' for money are fakes, but I believe there are probably some who are for real. I think the majority of real psychics don't go out and tell everyone or use their abilities for greed or anything.

John Edwards was it ?
if so then he is a lovely guy and very likely genuine
the mediums at our church work in the same way as he does
and i also work similar
so for me to say that it is all made up , would be making a fool of what i do also

I wouldn't say I believe in psychics like that, but the belief in spirits is a big part of my culture. I've never believed in the people that go on television claiming to be able to speak to the dead. It all seems too rehearsed.

Any mediocre magician can astound you with stuff, but they make it clear that it is a trick. Unlike those who try to fool people with psychic babble and religion.

It's called 'cold-reading' and it isn't supernatural by any stretch of the imagination. Psychics should be arrested for defrauding their customers.

You just have to watch Derren Brown to see how convincing a fake can be.

I think they are mostly charlatans who take advantage of vulnerable people, although some of them are probably genuinely deluded and imagine they can talk to the dead.
