My boyfriend does it all the time. It used to freak me out because it made me nervous, but now I am more comfortable with him doing that. But why does he do that?!

They say that your soul is in your eyes, im not sure about that but thats what i heard. Maybe he just likes what he sees and your captivating to him, be happy that he looks at you at all. Some people dont even get that in a relationship...

The reason why I find this a very intricate and multi-layered question can be attributed closely to the times preceding him just staring into your eyes for certain periods of time (probably awkwardly long). Does the situation arise where he just walks into the daily nuances(no matter how small) that you may be already predisposed in doing and shoot you a hard core eye stare. Or are there subtle meanings attatched to these moments of sharing such as a buildup of a non-verbal connection. As short as this answer is not proving to be, my general point is that certain 'eye stares' can be generated from the heart or mind, romantically or psychologically. My experience comes from a close friend of mine. An extremely good looking guy, tall-blonde-blue eyes. And what he does with girls is more geared to psychological eye stares.. It's like planting a mental seed which so tenuously thrives in the unconscious landscape. Might seem crazy but this can be done aurally as well.

He loves your eyes and is trying to read your expressions - I asked a question if guys like pretty eyes on a girl and every answer was yes - two ppl said you "can read her soul" or something like that (i don't know exactly what that means but ok)...he definitely loves you - thats what it means.

Maybe he's totally into you and whats to look at you because he thinks ur gorgeous but if he smokes or something...that could be the reason too. If he's stoned...he'll stare like that. Lol...but I'm sure it's just because he's sooo in to you.

he would do that because he is looking for the truth. Looking to see if he can tell if you are being honest.
