Most of the worlds armed conflicts involve combatents from the 'religion of peace' demanding that their cavelaw, from their angry God, be forced upon the rest of the region.

Whats amazing is that, with every new conflict that arises, involving the same religion and same demands, no alarm is created in the western world other than to condemn 'terror' itself ...continuing to leave the root cause unchallenged.

Even worse, the poor brainwashed people themsevles (religionists) are blamed instead of the source of their brainwashing. The cancer continues to grow unchalleged like some fundy who rejects modern medicine.

Im sure, that future generations...if there is much of a future, will think us stark raving mad, the same as we have looked at historical peoples with amazement for their stupidity.

Myself, I will find some stone or steel tablet, that can weather time, and make clear where I stood.

I remember Billy Graham once being interviewed and he was asked what one thing he would change about humans if he could. His answer was he would remove racial differences. I disagree now even more than I did then as I would remove religious differences.

Religion has always been something that zealots have found worth fighting and dying over. Likely this will continue even in the distant future. All we have to do is think how religions were involved in the holocaust, the crusades, and even the witch hunts...and that's recent history.

Religion is a good reason for wars that really are fought over territory, power, money, etc. That sounds so much nicer.

That said, our present conflict is less against flesh and blood, but against a Satanic plot to lead a whole culture into a flirtation with death. The Prince of Persia is still alive and trying to get his licks in at the expense of the Arabic and Iranian people.

I do exactly not comprehend anymore. The non secular "good" has in no way appealed to me and only approximately made me lose my faith in God and Jesus. Jesus enjoyed all of us, and after some learn and time spent analyzing spirituality and faith, or perhaps somewhat of analyzing of the Bible and different non secular works, I truthfully have not considered something that incredibly mentioned that God hates particular infants. Are all gays thieves? NO! Are all gays liars? NO! Are all gays adulterers? NO because of the fact a number of them are not even married! Are all gays worshipping "unusual" Gods? NO! Are all gays murderers? NO! Do all gays covet their neighbor's spouses? NO! Do all gays not shop a sabbath/relax day? NO! Do all gays take the Lord's call in ineffective? NO! only because of the fact Paul had an opinion, a widely MIS-TRANSLATED opinion on homosexuality, and only because of the fact bible fundies like to apply those verses against people (as though they don't do adequate harm with different issues saying people who do not settle for Jesus are actually not likely to heaven, properly they are bearing fake witness because of the fact they don't comprehend what Jesus will or won't do). final time I checked Paul wasn't a divine messenger and the son of God the two..... Even the Catholic Church, properly a number of them in any case thinking many Catholics are fundamentalists (i grew to become into raised Roman Catholic), i've got observed greater tolerant, liberal Christians tend to be Catholics. And the Catholic Church is the unique Church. The born-back Christians, evangelists, JW's and all them are actually not something yet cults who nonetheless have not gotten over anti-Catholic Protestant mentality. So what do they comprehend besides their worry? (bear in innovations maximum "bible belt" states are a similar states that have enslaved and racial tensions nonetheless exist. additionally bear in innovations they used Bible verses to justify their stance).

I love how the first response is typical naive brainwashed dribble *L*

I agree, yes, but the sad thing is, religion fundamentalism will always be around until people start educating themselves further on tolerance and common sense.

My thoughts on the subject exactly. That's why I have to keep coming back in here. It's the only place I know I will find people who really think about things more clearly than the red-necks in my area who get all of their spiritual nourishment from their churches' pot luck dinners. Kudos
