Okay, well last december we got a kitten, and he is very cute and energetic, but he doesnt seem to grow much. He has pretty long legs, but he's small, and i know he isn't at the "right" size because I have two other cats that were a lot bigger at his age. I took him to the vet in May and October, and she said he'd grow, but he never really did. He's not on a diet, because there's constantly food in their bowls. Does he have a disorder or something?

Hi there...depending on your kitty's breed background or if he was the tiniest one in his birth litter (aka runt), these would contribute why he is smaller than your other two kitties. For example, a Maine Coon cat is a very large breed whereas a siamese cat next to the Maine Coon would be quite small in comparison. Just like people, some of us are taller than others all due to genetics

You said you have other cats- make sure your kitten isn't eating the adult cat food. Kitten food is much better for a growing kitty, and it fattens 'em up a bit. Also, don't worry too much- my cat had a growth spurt between about 12 mos. and 14 mos. You can't really compare cats to each other because some can be as small as i dunno...8 pounds full grown, and others, like my parents' cat...grow to be about 17 pounds. haha. just keep an eye on him and if he doesn't put on some weight soon, just call your vet and ask for advice.

Your kitten is no different than a person....they come in all sizes. I have a 2 year old that hasn't grown an inch since she was 8 weeks old. The upside, I always have a kitten! He's just stunted, it happens. If he hasn't been fixed, try that and see if he grows alittle after that. Most likely, he'll stay little forever.

I have more cats than I prefer to mention. All of em are different. I have one cat who barely grew at all from her kitten days. She is a very petite, very pretty little baby. The vet says she's completely normal and very healthy. Cat's sizes can definitely vary.

animals can gorw at different rates. If your really worried though, you should see your vet. But it really shouldn't be anything to worry about. and don't want them to lose too much weight. that can be bad.
