I HATE STUPID SARCASTIC ANSWERS!

Try eating a little something with your wine. Cheese, a couple of crackers, not much, just little finger foods. I love wine and it does the same to me. I went to a wine sampling event and they served small snack type foods and it made a world of difference. It also improved the taste of wines.

Try the link below to match up some foods with your choice of wine.

Some people are sensitive to ingredients in wine, such as sulfates (preservatives) or the tannin in reds. If these pains are lasting 24 hours, it might be that you're having migraines. Alcohol is a common trigger.

It might be a good idea to get a checkup by your gp, especially if you have these symptoms at other times. I suspect that part of their advice will be to stop the behavior that triggers the ailment... meaning, quit drinking. Although three glasses of wine is not necessarily "too much to drink", it's clearly "too much for you."

If it's only with wine It might be an allergic type reaction to a particular type of grape...

If it's all alcohol you may have to ask yourself have you suffered any type of head injury in the past?

On the good side 2 glasses is enough anyway.... :)

You could be allergic to the sulphites ( preservative ) that is in
almost all wines...They should be listed on the label and many people are allergic to them, some more than others...

Your body is telling you not to drink wine. You don't mention if this happens with any other alcoholic beverages? If it's just wine....then don't drink it anymore.

That reminds me of a joke: a man and woman go out on a picnic. He goes away to relieve himself, and gets stung by a bee on his penis. He runs back screaming, and the woman drives him to the nearest emergency room. Just before the doctor sees the man, the woman pulls him aside and asks, "Doc, is there any way you can give him something to take away the pain, but leave the swelling?" :)

There are chemicals in red wine which people are more likely to be allergic to, things like sulpher and tannins I think!

you should get something called Chasers for wine and you shouldnt have that problem. It sounds to me like you have a low tollerance for wine.
