No matter what i do my dog keeps on eating my underwear and pants and pj bottoms whether they are clean or not!!!! WHY DOES SHE DO THIS@!!! I caught her red pawed lastnight in the laundry basket looking for anything of mine!!! I DON'T UNDERSTAND!!!!

The dog has too much pent up energy. You need to take her to a dog park and let her run around and play with other dogs.

Dogs do this because of the scent that is on them. Washing doesn't get it all out. If this is a problem, don't leave your clothes where she can get at them. It's not her fault, it's yours for leaving them out. Get a laundry basket with a lid and make sure all your clothes make it into it. You can even go a step further and put your hamper in the closet and keep that door shut. On laundry day, don't allow her into the area where the clothes are. If your mom or dad folds your clothes and leaves them for you, ask them to put them on your bed and then close your door. Denying her access is the best way to stop this.
Edit: Don't take manasha's abusive advice. A dog owner never needs to Hit, Smack, Slap, Swat, a dog. This shows poor ownership and a lack of training on the owner's part. You can say 'no' firmly (not yelling!!!), but there is no need to EVER get physical with your dog. Shame on her for recommending it. Again, you can't get mad at the dog for YOUR mistake. You know the dog eats underwear, yet, you keep leaving them where she can get them.

My dogs do this too. As someone else suggested, get a hamper with a lid and keep it in the closet. And if you catch her in the act, pop her on the nose, not hard, but hard enough that it doesnt feel good to her, and tell her no in a stern voice. Dont ever punish her if you dont catch her though, even if you put them in her face, she wont understand what she is being punished for.

As sick as it may sound, they like the way it smells. I used to have a dog that did the same thing.

my dog did the same thing. and she still does if we dont get to her first. she LOVES to chew on the crotch of my underwear (i dont know if she ever did it to my moms)
she's blind now, but she'll still push the door open if its not closed all the way and find a pair. its probably a dominance thing

make your dog sleep outside or get a child- toddler gate that blocks your dog from the laundry room whereever you keep your clothes because your dog will continue to do this,

Does she have enough to do during the day? Sometimes they chew because they are bored. Are you spending enough time with her? May also be doing it because she misses you or is mad at you.

when she does this u may want to smack her (not hard) on her snout. my dogs learned from this techinque...im not exactly sure why she does this, if its a puppy maby shes just curious
