I know this is a dumb question but what is the name for Army clothes? My friend says they are called Army clothes and I am certain they have a name but can't remember.

Each uniform the soldiers wears has a name for it. The green suit or dress uniform are "Class A's". The green pants with just shirt and tie are "Class B's". The blue suit or dress uniform are called "Dress Blues". The daily uniform worn with the camouflage pattern is called "ACU's". This is the new term for the new pattern of camouflage. The old pattern is "BDU's". Another name for them would be "fatigues". The desert pattern uniform is a "DCU".
Army trivia for the name of the hat worn with the Class A uniform. The long narrow green hat is nicknamed the "c*nt cap". I got a laugh out of that when I learned that years ago!!

You will see that the official name is "Army Clothes."

B.D.U.-Battle Dress Uniforms. Class "A" uniforms, these are the fance uniforms worn for ceremonies, graduation, travel, etc. The one's that look like suit and tie.

clothes are clothes,,, everything has a name... Battle Dress Uniform..DCU, FlighBDUS. ClassA, ClassB, Dress Blues, Flight Suit, ExtremeColdWeather, PTs(physical training)...your clothes are clothes... but your jeans are jeans, church clothes, pajamas.... etc...
