When you paint a picture with words, a person can feel it, and if the picture is painted perfect enough than its possible to fall in lov with it.

Why?

because the picture is perfect, over the computer you can make yourself seem like you have no inperfections... you can fool anyone. and sence the emotions you project to another person SEEM real and FEEL real, THEY BECOME REAL. and you think you can not get hurt by some one who is good with words...

i feel in love with someone in an online chatroom role playing game. i interacted with him for a year before i actually met him. when i did meet him i found him to be way older and ugly , but i was still naive and blinded by his words. I changed my life to be with him, and i took numorious chances pushing my family and friends whom luckily stood by my right to decide. I am lucky nothing bad happened to me, because under his skin he was a nutureing man. but he was also possive... so i left him after living with him for a year. Its been almost 10 years now sence then. i feel i learned something form my experience. i am not as trusting anymore.

You have to first understand, that it is a game.....but some folks are unable to make that distinction. I will admit that I have Cybered, but we make some ground rules. This is going no where, its all in fun, etc..... I would never openly and willingly deceive someone or tempt them to abandone thier lifes for me....If I even sence there some is getting too carried away and hinting at meeting some place..... I call a Time Out! and end it.That is the tough situation.

Good God, i think you hit the point... i'm sooooooo in love with my cyber boyfriend... we live in different continents, we don't even speak the same mother tongue-language.. but i still think i love him and i can do anything for him... i guess i can leave here and start it over there with him.. i just can't risk it that he proposes to me and i just say "NO" because i guess 80% it will work...
he promised he will come over and stay with me for some time so that we can meet face-to-face and explore everything about each other.....
but i cyber friends are still people and you can still know alotttttttt of things through intenret.. i mean you can never be 100% sure of the person in front of you even thought you know them face-to-face... maybe the risk here is larger but it exists in all kinds of relations..

it's confusing... i don't know myself... but i'm following my heart and feeling

They can't really fall in love with a picture of someone. I think their just infatuated by how this person looks. They want to give up everything because of how this person looks and they feel like their in love because how they talk to them on the interenet. You can't really get in arguments when ur online. So i don't think it's called falling in love. I'm sure it's infatuation.

Why not? There is no difference between falling in love this way, or falling in love by sending each other pics via the mail. Lots of people have fallen in love and married by this method.

ur being stupid, judmental and ignorant! U don't need to meet! Besides people lie in real life more then online, and online they can be themselves. They can be more outspoken. And talk much better! Plus there's, pics, cams, and more. So yes they have seen their face. U don't know that they don't meet either. They meet and date before they marry, derr. I am only saying. I no longer consider it, and was not in love w him. My only love was a guy in CLASS, he just asked me out online. Finn and shasta are right too.

nicely, to me love is more effective than adoration and intimacy, yet also that. that is being concerned, kindness, encouragement, self-discipline, mercy, forgiveness, hopeful, sharing desires with, dreaming new desires with, sharing, respectful, etc. in case you extremely love someone, you won't be able to help yet love them, you won't be able to get out of it, it really is liking someone. Ecstasy is all actual and emotional stuff that would want to replace daily. once you locate someone that you want and loves you decrease back, it really is the magical area, it really is the deep connection. yet, what are beliefs anyhow. It does not exist, love it really is, a minimum of not in the international....

It takes all kinds of people to make up the world we live in. Smart ones and not so smart ones. And sometimes people do things that are not so smart. Hard to explain but it happens.
