Well, it's not a quote, just a verse
Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
A promise that will be done soon.

The whole book of Hosea. Because of the promise that Yhwh will bring back the lost sheep of the the northern house of Israel (10 lost tribes) who were divorced from him, went away, mixed with the nations and acted like a bunch of gentile pagans but then repented and returned to him. Unlike the southern house of Judah who never left Yhwh and his commandments, or when they did, they always repented and returned to him. Sound like any parables you have heard?

This is how we know what love is, Jesus laid down his Life for us. We ought to lay down are life for our brothers. 1 John 3:16
It show that as Christians we should help other first. Laying down are lives is not always jumping in from of a bullet but maybe help some one out with food instead of buy that new pair of shoes. Or paying the rent for a month or two for someone that have a tough time instead of going out to eat every nite. Another way we can lay down are life is spending time to be there for someone who just needs to be with someone.

My favourite Bible verses are:
And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ***, with the edge of the sword. Joshua 6:21
This one is really nice too.
Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak.... And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home. -- 1 Corinthians 14:34-35

Joh 6:53 So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves.
Joh 6:54 "He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.
Joh 6:55 "For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink.
Joh 6:56 "He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.
Joh 6:57 "As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also will live because of Me.
Joh 6:58 "This is the bread which came down out of heaven; not as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live forever."
Jesus teaches all about the Eucharist and what you need to do and believe for eternal life.

1 corinthians 10/21 you cannot drink the cup of the lord and drink the cup of demons, you cannot partake of the lords table and of the table of demons
we cannot do both and expect not to be judged..its either one or the other, which one sounds better to you..thats what that verse means to me..verses speak differently to everyone
