I am not pregnant, but i'm always fascinated by the whole process, and wondering what to expect when I finally do reach that stage. Is it unlikely to have a pregnancy, with no discomfort at all?

For me, there were two stages that really stand out... the first few months, when I was so sick and couldn't keep anything down, and the last month, when I was ready for that baby to come out already! During the first few months, I had such severe morning sickness (more like all-day sickness) that I actually lost 15 pounds. My hubby was great though... made me grilled cheese sandwiches everyday (that was the only thing that stayed down, for some odd reason). I never had any real cravings with either of my girls. I got very uncomfortable the last month of pregnancy, though... it hurt to sleep because I could never find a comfortable position, it was hard to walk for long periods, and I just felt big. By that point- I was ready to be done and have my body back to myself again. By far, the morning sickness stage was the worst though.

I had a great pregnancy but I started to become REALLY miserable in my 9th month. I just wanted to baby out. He was a week late so I was induced. I was SO miserable (from the discomfort) that it got to a point where I just told them to cut him out, I didn't care!

Never had morning sickness or anything else. It was just after the baby dropped that things began to SUCK!

Some ppl experience discomfort and some don't. Every pregnancy is different. You may not experience one symptom but on the other hand, could experience everything in every book, etc.

Good luck!!!

The morning sickness was icky but the "discomfort" came within the last 1-2 weeks of pregnancy. I was big as a house, couldn't tie my shoes (or even see them for that matter), constipated, etc.

Sounds rough but it really is all worth it in the end!

Other than the morning sickness, I was fine the first 5 months. Then, at 24 weeks, I went into pre-term labor and was confined to bed rest. NOW I am uncomfortable. I am just starting to get big, and I know it can only get worse. Wouldn't trade it for the world though! I love feeling her kick!

every woman is different, as well as every pregnancy. my second pregnancy was easier than my first one. it basically varies through different types of discomfort, like morning sickness, headaches, backaches, swollen ankles, heat flashes, hunger pains, the stretching of skin on your belly, ect.
