It leaves you alone which is where you have been but you didn't realize it . You are just finally admitting it now. Run to the nearest exit.

The question is 'where does that leave himself?'
You obviously want him to care for you and that's perfectly normal and acceptable. However put your own feelings on hold and ask why he is in a state of not caring for himself either. He is the one who needs TLC and understanding, he may even need therapy.
Try not to take it personally, explore all other options first. Is it possible that he is under distress? If so help him out and then work on your relationship.

Oh run now please, have heard this before. He is just trying to put on a front, he obviously has things that he needs to deal but would rather stick his head in the sand and pretend he can be happy without meaningful relationships with anyone.

You won't be able to change him no matter what you do, all you could do would be to support him but he won't change unless he truly wants to. If it's early days then I'd say do yourself a favour and leave him to himself now, before he drags you down and wears down your self confidence.

It should leave you in no doubt that he is selfish, and you would be well advised to break off the relationship before it is too late !
We all of us need to care and be cared for Daniel.

It means you now know exactly where you stand with him - without him!! Now you know, don't hang about, get rid of him, even if he said it in temper, don't ignore it- he means it! Go out and get urself a man who actually gives a sh*t!! or better still dont!! The single life is under-rated, its great!!

That's his indirect punk-butt way of saying he doesnt care for you included, lose him and tell him to lose your number. Chance are you have been the object of his indirect anger and he's too much of a punk to tell you to step off. Dismiss him cause I don't think you need the abuse, who does?
