You know, like a big Bells (whiskey) bottle at all? If you do, where do you get a bottle that size?

I've just emptied mine which was full of coppers, 5p & 10p coins and there was over £200!!
I got mine when I was working in a club. The best place to get them are Workingmens Clubs.

I have a bells whiskey bottle what i keep my pennies in. I was lucky a good friend of mine worked in a social club so she got it for me when it was empty. If you know someone that works in a public house or a social club then ask them to get you one the next time they have an empty x

I did that when I was a student. I got a big empty whiskey bottle from a hotel. I remember when it was almost full a guy broke into my flat when I was in bed one night. It was the first thing I could grab to hit him with, which I did and let's say, he was very sorry for ever breaking in !!!

At a bar.
In the 60's we used to put old sixpences in them.
There was a theory that if you put a sixpence into the bottle everytime you had sex before marriage, and took a sixpence out everytime you had marital sex, you would never empty the bottle!

Every Year My kids have a penny drive to donate any pennies to different charities and I just collect them in a regular teddy bear jar.

My father keeps dimes in a big Crown Royal bottle. it was a gift from my brother in law, ne got it somewhere at a duty free shop. it took dad a long time to empty it, though! :)

my ex used to do that (drove me crazy) she got it from behind the bar at the local but i,ve heard that if u ask them they will save u a bottle. happy hoarding

My Gran does! Talk nicely to your local pub, they will be glad to give you empty bottles. Course you could always buy a full one and empty it yourself!!!
