Hi Mohammed...cats can learn to do new behaviours (also known as tricks). I have taught both my cats to sit, sit up, lay down, rollover, high-5, wave, shake, give kisses, jump through hoops, fetch, touch anything I point them to contact, follow a target, use the human toilet and so much more. I also train exotic cats (e.g. cougars, bobcats, african servals, etc) to target, open their mouth on command to have their teeth brushed, back against the cage to have blood drawn and so many more behaviours in order to make managing their health care beneficial. Therefore, any cat can be taught new behaviours it's just a matter of understanding enough about their nature.

Food and positive reinforcement is the key to teach any animal a new behaviour. Here are a few websites that can help you teach your cat to sit, sit up, lay down and a few more ideas: http://www.catsplay.com/dailycat.php3?cat=mind&scat=mind_training

Patience....cat can learn tricks. One of mine will fetch and the other will finish the "Charge" when I whistle. Cats need repetition to learn, don't expect your kitten to pick it up the first time. Start young and practice the trick over and over...and ALWAYS reward with a spoon or flake of tuna.

I have trained my cat to sit on command - but from what I understand my cat is in the minority. However, it is not impossible! To train your cat to sit, just follow the same reward principle that you use with dogs. I would suggest getting your cat to come to you on command as a first step toward training. This is the most useful thing to teach - you'll see. Always have treats easily within reach to give to your cat if he/she gets it right.
You just have to remember that they are unlikely to do anything they would not normally do, so your cat will never fetch a ball for instance... sorry.

Contrary to popular belief cats can be trained. My cats all sit up for their dinner and one knows how to play fetch. The difference between training a cat and training a dog, is that a cat doesn't care about your approval. Cats want treats. So, you always have to bribe them. Telling them they're a "good kitty" will not help. Even then, given their independent streak, they still will be stubborn at times and refuse to cooperate.

Cats are very independent and only listen (if even that) when they want to. However, I had to train my cats to go through a cat door - the only way it worked was with treats and soft food. I stood on 1 side and my husband on the other. We kept pushing them through the door and giving them treats each time. It took only 5 to 10 minutes before they did it on their own. However, my one cat caught on to it quicker then the other. It just depends on the cat. That's the only thing I was able to train them in, not even sure if you can call that training...:)

You cant, cats are very lazy and hard to train by nature .Training is is not a good suggestion. If you want to have a trained pet you should have tried for a dog.Cats will learn some with time, but will refuse to do them when wanted. They arent "show" pets so you should just accept the cat as it is.

You stare at her for a long time. If she blinks first, she is trainable, if you blink first she is not trainable. Good Luck.
