if a guy askes what me "dating rules" are what should i say. what does that mean. does he like me?

Maybe he wants to know just what you expect of him, or what you will let him do on a date. It might be as innocent as do you expect him to open doors for you and walk you to your front door after a date and do you expect him to pay for the dates or just how far are you willing to go.Kiss on the first date or just a hug?

Dating rules-
I will not date a man who belches the alphabet upon introducing himself. I will not date a man who considers it funny to pull the chair out for the woman on a date to make sure she misses it and falls on the floor no haven't had this happen ;). I will not date a man who does drugs. I will date a man... anyway.
Dating rules2-
Depending on how old you are the dating rules may include how late you can be out at night. If you can go certain places and how far away from home town you may travel.

I think he just wants to make sure he doesn't go beyond any boundaries you set...
1) No sex on first date..
2) No kissing...
3) No time limits on when to call after date...
4) You want to be picked up...
5) He will pay for the date - unless otherwise decided...
Things like that, so he knows where he stands...

If he wants to know your personal dating rules then he could possibly like you but I would definately try to use all the other signals that he may be shooting at you if he likes you. More often than not its pretty easy to tell if he does or not without him even opening his mouth.

he basically wants to know how "far" you would go with him if you two dated....I would ask him what "dating rules" means to him before you give him too much information that he does not need to know.

He might. I would tell him that they are different for each person and tell him what your rules are. No kissing on the first date, or dating only each other, etc...

If a guy is asking you this-it is pertaining probably to sex. Like-how many dates is your rule before you will do it. I say, leave this one alone-he sounds like trouble!

Depending on your age maybe he means the dating rules in your family.
If that's what he means he sounds very considerate and he has my vote.

most girls have a plan, or a story if you will, on how her and a guy's dating relasionship will go. And if a guy doesn't act it right, they get written out. So that's what he means. Tell him what to expect.
