A dime bag is a $10 bag of grass.
A quarter is a quarter of an ounce of grass.
Antiquated terms from 40 years ago.

A dime is a ten dollar bag of weed. A quarter is a quarter ounce of weed.

My advice: if you choose to smoke, save your money and get a vaporizer. Its much healthier than rolling and burning, or using a pipe or a bong. And its actually much more convenient because there is very little smell by the fact the the bud isn't burned. Its super heated until the THC (the stuff that gets you high) is released into the air, and you suck it in through the mouthpiece. they're a little pricey, but your lungs will thank you.

Back in the sixties and the seventies a dime bag was a bag costing $10.00. A quarter was a quarter of a pound and LB was a pound and you could get a kilo of columbian gold in a prepackaged dogfood bag out direct from the Florida docks for about $275.00. Now I got to tell you. Man I really liked pot. I also tried just about everything there was to try. I was smart in so much as no needles. Anything than needed needles could be snorted or smoked with weed. I use to go through an OZ at least one a week. Man when I played music and sang it always sounded better, it felt better doing it. I used to go throw frizbee and smoke one joint after antoher. I did this for about twenty years. I also drank a lot of coffee and smoked cigarettes. Man I had so much caffeine in me the THC is the only reason I could sleep at night.
They used to say that weed was a "gateway drug", it leads to using other more harmful drugs. They were right. But, that gate swings two ways and because I liked the effects of weed better, I came back through the gate. Weed was my drug of choice, at least for twenty years.
Now, I only use it to combat the nausea effect of the chemo. You see my Doctor told me if I would have only used cigarettes I would live another ten to twenty years. It seems that weed is 4 times more carcenegenic than the cigarettes. Now I wish I had all the money I sunk into pot to pay these doctor bills.
Man I have now met people who alcohol and cigarettes have caused their cancers and killed them. Ive met people who have never used anything, but because cancer was in ther family, heredity killed them. Me, there is no cancer in my family. But now at age 51 I have to figure out how to tell my 14 year old son why he is going to be 15 and fatherless because of weed.
It is hard not to try and like weed, but I wish I would have said no to both weeds, cigarettes and pot. It would have been easier than having the people I love most, have to watch me waste away. And ask why?
Anyway now days a Quarter is a Quarter of an ounce and costs between 45 and 75 dollars depending on where you live and how good it is. A dime is about half that.

A dime is $10 worth, about 1.75 grams of weed. A quarter is $30-$40 worth and weighs out at 7 grams. A half runs $50-70 and is 14 grams, And an ounce is 28 grams and runs around a $100. These prices are for average grade. The real good stuff can be expensive. Weed is not a bad drug and has many beneficial uses. It's just like starting to smoke cigarettes, the first few times you feel the effects strongly but as your body gets used to it the effects are just calming and peace full. The giddiness and stupidity goes away after regular use. Marijuana is a nonaddictive drug. Most people don't understand this and just judge weed by the stupid people who use it and abuse it. http://www.norml.org/ Check out this site to learn more truth about marijuana. A dime is a small coin that is the equivalent of 10 cents.

Qeutrer is not a word.

Perhaps you may want to reconsider the whole drug use thing...it seems as though you really need to keep what few functional brain cells you have left.

Dime- $10
Quarter- $25

IMO, weed always made me feel much better than alcohol, because I never puked or got hungover from smoking weed. I don't do it anymore, but just be careful not to get carried away with it. Once in awhile is fine, doing it every night is when it gets out of control.

dime and quarter (and nickle) are amounts they are sold as. it differs in areas. usually a dime bag would be $10 worth. usuall, quarter = quarter oz, and that will be priced depending on what kind of weed it is (swag is really cheap, heady/bud a lot more)

It is the amount of Marijuana. For example, a quarter would be a quarter pound of pot...or 4 oz. bags. 64 oz. to a quarter pound. A dime bag would be the amount of 10 dollars.

a nickel bag is 5 bucks, dime bag is 10 bucks, a quarter bag is 25 bucks. i havent smoked since i was 15 but a couple of my friends do. i cant stand the smell of smoke now, marajuana or cigarettes. dont get hooked on this stuff its a bad habbit and leads to worser things, and it drains your money fast.
