i dont understand how it is possible to get out of a good 2 year relationship and be dating someone else 2 weeks later . . . we broke up for no reason because she "wanted to date around" and was dating basically the first guy that showed interest 2 weeks later . . . .they are still together now but she has been calling/texting/emailing me every 1,2,3 weeks atleast but i have not answered anything from her since june and she is still doing it . . . . is this guy a rebound? and what is going on, why is she trying to contact me like this?

If you want her back, let her know that you still deeply care about her and when she is ready to talk you are there to listen. Just text that to her and then see how long it takes for the return call/text. If its a quick call back then this other guy is most defiantly a rebound.
She's pretty persistent if she has been trying to call you since June. If shes still seeing this same guy it may no longer be a rebound, unfortunately, by now its sure to have turned into a more meaning full relationship.
If you've already been able to move on and your happy with your life, don't bring the drama back. If you truly love her and she is who you want to be with until you both grow old, then text the message and see if what she has to say is what you've been waiting to hear.

you said it, she dates the first guy that showed interest and they are still together for as long as she will allow it to go on or if this rebound guy develops a backbone and sees her for what she is "a user".
no one will call/text/email another person as much as she has if her new relationship was going well. personally, there is not much of a relationship there between those two. a true relationship consists of two people who are interested in being in one. she shouldn't need to look else where; and that is what she is doing by contacting you.
again, if you think this she is worth while then call, otherwise ignore it and quit wonder about the loser shes with.

Sounds like she met this other guy before she told you that she wanted to date around. I don't think it is rebound. I think she seen something that she thought she might like better. It is good that she told you she wanted to date someone else instead of messing around on you. Could be that she realized that you are the better man. Could be that she just wants to be friends. If you would take her back, I suggest you contact her and found out what her intentions are. If she wants to stay with this dude and just be your friend, let her know that you need more time to get back on track. If she wants you back either take her back or tell her to get lost.

Personally I don't know all that went on...but maybe she screwed up and she realizes that she made a mistake. She might be holding on to this guy like a security blanket....so that she has SOMEONE. Just think if you take her back...that guy will get the boot then and not see it comeing. It might be her way.
I would say move on and make a fresh start. Give her a call and tell her it's over. You will always have your memories.

Cut ties with her and ask her not to contact you anymore (if that's what you want). Rebounds usually don't last, but the question is why is she still with him and contacting you; does he know that she is still trying to stay in touch with you, and how would that make him feel?

I know you don't want to hear this but I bet she had contact with this guy before you breakup. I could be wrong but if she really was that needy then she would have came back to you. She's not worth the heartbreak anymore.

I'm assuming she's young. Sounds like she's not ready for a serious relationship and just wants to play for a while. She doesn't seem all that serious about her current relationship.

I don't know your personal situation since you don't even seem to know whats going on. I wouldnt connect back with her because she will keep hurting you.
